Kapha Type Allergy:

  • Firstly, it’s important to stay warm and dry and avoid mid-day naps. Drink light and clarifying teas blended with ginger, cardamom, and cinnamon, and add small amounts of local honey to eliminate excess Kapha and reduce sensitivity 
  •  Focus on fresh veggies and greens, which are astringent, and use black pepper and ginger in tea, soups, and salads.”
  • Avoid cold or frozen foods, carbonated beverages, and leftover foods.

Pitta Type Allergy:
These allergies are experienced in  Rashes, hives, redness in the eyes, irritation, and sneezing. The conditions may worsen in the summer.

Balancing Pitta
  • Pitta is possible by consuming cooling herbs like coriander and cilantro, fennel, and aloe vera Avoid spicy, heating foods like red chili, garlic, onion, red bell pepper, or alcohol,”
  • Neem leaf extract made into tea may also help in fighting the symptoms. Half a teaspoon of turmeric powder mixed in a cup of warm milk can alleviate such allergy symptoms to a large extent.
