Bridge Pose:

 The bridge pose is renowned for yoga. To practice bridge pose firstly

    • we should lie on our back with our knees bent and our legs and hip straight. 
    • We should place our palms facing down beside our bodies.
    • Let’s lift the bottom, middle and upper back of our body slowly.
    • We should draw our chests towards our chins and roll our shoulders back.
    • Then breathe slowly and hold this position for a few seconds. 

Surya Namaskar:

Surya Namaskar or the sun salutation is a great form of yoga asana that helps reduce belly fat and fat in the waist. It is beneficial in controlling PCOD problems. The instructions that are to be followed are:

    • We should stand up straight by dividing the weight of our body equally on our two legs
    • We should relax our shoulders and open our chest
    • We should raise both arms to the side as we breathe in. While exhaling we should bring our hands down to our chest as a form of prayer
    • Now, we should take a deep breath and extend our body from our toes to our heels.
    • We should exhale while putting our spines straight and should lean forward and touch our toes.
    • We should extend our right leg pushing it back. We should look straight and do a push-up and hold for a couple of seconds.
    • Now, we should get into the Cobra pose.
    • We should keep breathing in and out while doing this yoga stance.
    • As the last part, we should stand straight and touch our toes.

Bhujangasana: 

Bhujangasana is also known as the cobra stance in yoga. This asana is widely used to reduce stress and anxiety. This asana is also well known to reduce PCOD problems which create trouble in many women. The instructions to practice this pose are:

    • Firstly, we should lie down putting our palms facing the ground. Our elbows should be kept tight with our body
    • We should begin to straighten our arms to raise our chest off the ground we breathe in and should lean back as far as we can.
    • The ground should be under our navel.
    • We should remain in the same pose for some 15-20 seconds before taking a down and a downward breath

Naukasana:

Naukasana is also called the boat pose. It majorly focuses on the abdominal organs and muscles. It is used to strengthen organs and the muscles of our abdomen. Instructions to follow for this pose are:

    • Firstly, we should lie flat on the floor. We should keep our arms parallel to the ground. Our palms should be facing downwards.
    • We should begin to raise our arms and legs as we inhale to resemble a boat.
    • We should hold this position for 15-30 seconds before breathing slowly downwards.

Kapal Bharti Pranayama:

Kapal Bharti Pranayama is a breathing exercise that is followed in yoga. This asana mainly involves respiration and aims to balance gland production. It shows a positive impact on the PCOD problem. The instructions to follow this asana are:

    • We should first sit in the padmasana position, by placing our hands on our knees and closing our eyes.
    • We should close our right nostrils with the help of our right thumb and inhale through our left nostrils.
    • Now, slowly we should remove our thumbs and exhale from the right nostril.
    • Now, we should close our left nostril with our middle finger and repeat the same inhaling and exhaling process.
    • We should repeat the exercise for 10-15 minutes. And we should concentrate on breathing.
