What is GERD?

GERD – Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or chronic acid reflux

GERD is a condition where acid-containing in our stomach stubbornly leaks back up to our esophagus, which is the tube-like structure from our throat to our stomach.

This is the main reason for facing trouble in swallowing food. You can feel a lump in your throat which feels hard, and difficult to swallow.

When it comes to the burning sensation in your chest, it is quite normal facing such pain after lunch only for old-aged people.

But even middle-aged people or old people are facing such pain frequently like, twice a week, you need to consider it seriously and take care to cure it.

Main Symptoms
  • Recurrent heartburn or pain in the chest (because few may not suffer heartburn instead they feel pain in their chest.)
  • Acid regurgitation.
  • Hoarseness in the morning.
  • Trouble swallowing.
  • Dry cough and bad breath.
